Alexander Vincent

Jandel (July 10, 1810. December 11, 18 72 in Rome) - French Dominican convent in general 1855-1872. He w as ordained in 1834, worked as a professor of Scripture at Nancy, and a small seminary rector in Pont-Ă -Mousson. Under the influe nce of JH Lacordaireaw 1841, he joined the Order of Friars Preachers. In the years 1844-1849 was over monasteries in France. In 1855 Pope Pius IX, nominated him to the General Order, and after seven years of General Chapter elected him for the next 12 years.
